Whiteout || Zermatt, Switzerland
I travelled to Zermatt to capture images of The Matterhorn, possibly the most iconic mountain in the world. While hiking the surrounding mountains to gain a vantage point for The Matterhorn, I watched a storm roll into the valley. I set up and waited, and as the snowstorm reached the mountain, rolling over it and around it, I captured this image. I knew I had the shot, and looked down at my camera to check it, when I looked back up the mountain was gone and the horizon had gone completely white. These fleeting moments are what I aim to capture with my photography and I am glad that I was able to capture one in such an epic place.
